SN770TI Rugged Notebook

The SN770TI is a new generation notebook computer. The rugged, all metal portable computer is designed to survive harsh handling in extreme environmental conditions. The SN770TI is TEMPEST to AMSG788A and tested to MIL-STD-810F for ruggedisation. The system is completely sealed from water, dust and dirt intrusion to IP54 and can withstand heavy vibration and shock loads from every day use in rough in-vehicle transportation and handling.

The SN770TI configuration includes a powerful Intel Mobile Pentium® M processor, 1.4GHz to 1.6GHz processor, 256MBs of memory, PCMCIA/Cardbus, 3D audio, and a fully sealed rubber keyboard with an integrated pointing device. Mass storage is provided by a standard removable EIDE hard drive. The hard drive is a small form-factor, 2.5-inch ruggedized unit mounted in a shock absorbing sealed cartridge that slides into the side of the SN770TI. A peripheral bay houses either the removable floppy drive or optional CD-ROM drive.
