API Technologies’ Philadelphia Facility Achieves AS9100 Rev C Certification


ORLANDO, Fla.– (PR Newswire) – October 21, 2014 - API Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ:ATNY) ("API" or the "Company"), a leading provider of high performance RF/microwave, power, and security solutions for high-reliability applications, today announced that its RF/Microwave facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has achieved AS9100 Rev C Certification.

Based on the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) management systems standard, AS9100 is an internationally recognized standard for the aerospace and defense industry. AS9100 certification involves a third-party verification process that includes a detailed review of the Company's quality processes and documentation.

This marks API Technologies’ eleventh operation to achieve the AS9100 designation.

Established in 1980 as Amplifonix, API Technologies’ Philadelphia, Pennsylvania location is a design and manufacturing center for RF/Microwave and microelectronics solutions, components, hybrids, and other solutions including hybrid amplifiers from 10MHz to 50 GHz; complex Integrated Microwave Assemblies; and low cost, component-scale microwave multifunction circuits. In addition to the AS9100 designation, the Philadelphia facility also holds ISO 9001:2008 certification.
