API offers units for a wide variety of applications from switch mode power supply designs to heavy curreny types for 60Hz and other applications.  API produces chokes from a few micro henries to 10s of Henries and current ratings from milliamps up to 100s of amps.

API offers a wide variety of transformers to meet any need.  Our signal transformers consist of audio frequency, coupling, impedance matching, line matching, line isolating and hybrid transformers for central office or mobile equipment applications in surface mount or through hole formats.

We also have an extensive assortment of pulse transformers, also in SMD or TH formats, for a wide variety applications : T1/E1 and ISDN applications, as well as T3/E3 and xDSL.  API has been approved as a source for CEPT/CCiTT, S-Bus and U-Bus transformers and for specific interface ICs for Zarlink (Mitel).

The CMD837 1.0 GHz to 18.0 GHz highpass / lowpass diplexer is an ideal solution when RF modulation or DC injection is essential. Each of the channels is comprised of a seven section Chebychev filter. The individual filters are diplexed to provide for a common port that passes DC to 500 MHz and 1.0 GHz to 18.0 GHz. The low frequency port allows for injection of a DC to 500 MHz bias, or control signal onto the 1.0 GHz to 18.0 GHz band. The diplexing function of the filter provides -30 dB of isolation channel to channel.
