API Technologies Develops Secure, Mobile Communications Hub with Embedded Encryption

The SB1500ER Secure Communication Hub is a single, integrated device that replaces case-based solutions. It provides both 3G or satellite connectivity and high grade (Type 1 equivalent) IP encryption. The SCH is currently deployed in the UK Government.

The SB1500ER Secure Communications Hub (SCH) provides a rugged, portable Secure Communications facility using multiple bearers, perfect for ad-hoc, mobile or remote environments.

The SCH integrates accredited data transmission (Mini-CATAPAN® encryption) and data at rest (Eclypt® drive in Laptop) products for an accredited S & TS mobile solution.

This single integrated device replaces traditional case-based systems, providing for 3G or satellite (BGAN etc) connectivity where there is no fixed line access. The black side Ethernet port can also be used for fixed line networks, ADSL or through a Wireless or radio modem. For added flexibility the SCH features three red-side LAN ports, enabling it to act as a secure communications ‘hub’ and providing encrypted WAN access to multiple clients.
