New API Site Enhancements

You may have already noticed the new site look/feel. But, we wanted to point out some additional site enhancements aimed at helping you find products and solutions more easily:

  • Product Finder - We've improved the Product Finder feature. Now you can search for products in three ways: by product category (e.g. UAS/UAV), by search term (e.g. "MIL-STD 810") or by product brand name (e.g. Cryptek).
  • More Product / Service Categories -  We've vastly expanded our product category list and grouped them vertically, by capability (i.e. no more pulldown menu), so it is easier to find what you are looking for.
  • Ask an Engineer - Our "Ask an Engineer" feature lets you communicate directly with our engineering team regarding your product questions.

API Technologies to Showcase its Products & Engineering Capabilities at AUSA

ORLANDO, FL — October 4, 2011 — API Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ:ATNY) (“API” or the “Company”), a provider of electronic systems, subsystems, RF, and secure systems for defense, aerospace, and commercial applications, announced today that it will showcase its diverse defense products and solutions at Booth #3654 at the AUSA 2011 Annual Meeting & Exposition. This is the Company’s first time exhibiting at AUSA, which takes place October 10-12 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington DC.

Rework & Troubleshooting

Sometimes the rework of existing PCB assemblies is necessary to fix a design flaw, upgrade an assembly with new components, or it is simply a cost-effective solution to building from scratch. API’s rework specialists assure that the resulting PCBs and assemblies meet the highest quality standards.

Featured capabilities:

Prediction & Elimination of Problems
API leverages state-of-the-art software to render a virtual board build. In a matter of minutes, API can spot engineering mistakes, check electrical clearances, review it against standards, check component sizes, and much more.

Test Engineering

Our experienced electrical engineers and technicians excel at working with customers to develop methodologies and design fixtures to reduce overall manufacturing costs, improve production yields, identify failures early, support root cause analysis, and assist engineering with DFT (Design For Test) analysis.

Supply Chain Management

When it comes to Supply Chain Management, API understands that you need to keep your inventory levels low to control costs, yet still need to respond quickly to new orders to satisfy your customers. API customers leverage our supply chain management expertise to receive high quality products without a high inventory risk.
