API Technologies Introduces New Transverse Coupled Resonator Filter for Narrowband IF Filtering

ORLANDO, FL  — September 26, 2012 — API Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ:ATNY) (“API” or the “Company”), a trusted provider of RF/microwave, microelectronics, and security solutions for critical and high-reliability applications, announced today a new transverse coupled resonator filter (TCRF). This new surface acoustic wave (SAW) filter is designed for narrowband intermediate frequency (IF) filtering such as in satellite transponders, directional finders and anti-jam modems. It is capable of fractional bandwidths of 0.04% to 0.1% and currently available from 80 - 1600 MHz.

New Multiplied Phase Locked Oscillators for Ultra Low Phase Noise Applications

ORLANDO, FL  — May 31, 2012 — API Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ:ATNY) (“API” or the “Company”), a leading provider of RF/microwave, microelectronics, and security solutions for critical and high-reliability applications, announced today a new line of multiplied phase locked oscillators from the Spectrum Microwave family of products. 

“The new multiplied phase locked oscillators provide both ultra low phase noise performance as well as the ability to modify standard parameters to meet customers’ unique requirements,” said Tracy Shaffer, Vice President, Spectrum Microwave Product Group of API Technologies. Phase noise performance is -175 dBc/Hz (at 100 kHz offset) and can use its internal or external 10 MHz reference.
